CRÉDOC, the Centre de Recherche pour l’Étude et l’Observation des Conditions de Vie, or the Research Institute for the Study and Monitoring of Living Standards, is a research and survey organization that caters to players within every facet of social and economic concerns.
Since its founding in 1953, CRÉDOC has been analyzing and forecasting the behaviour patterns of individuals in all their multivarious aspects: as consumers, as company employees, as players in the realm of society at large.
In 1978, it set up a permanent organization for conducting surveys of the lifestyles, opinions and aspirations of French men and women and has become a specialist in the development of data systems, target-specific quantitative studies and qualitative surveys based on interviews and lexical analysis.
CRÉDOC develops methodological tools to incorporate results of the most up-todate research and thereby ensure the high quality of its projects.
Since its inception, CRÉDOC has completed close to 3,000 studies and surveys.
CRÉDOC’s reputation offers its clients a guarantee of:
- professionalism, through its mastery of techniques for gathering, processing and analyzing information,
- conscientiousness, in its absolute requirement of consistency and accuracy at each stage in the implementation of any survey or study,
- quality of service, in its adherence to schedules and in the accessibility of its teams.
The organization is comprised of approximately sixty multi-skilled members (statisticians, sociologists, marketing experts, economists, linguists, and others) divided among seven departments, assisted by a network of interviewers.
